How much does it cost to train as a chaplain to a Further Education college?
There is no charge for our training.

Are the courses accredited by an awarding body?
The courses are not formally accredited at present and so do not result in a qualification. Accreditation does have cost implications which would, of course, result in a charge for our training.
On successful completion of our suit of courses you will, however, gain the FE Chaplain Training ‘Certificate of Completion’.

Do I need to register?
Yes, you need to register if you wish to attempt the on-line assessment questions for each course and to be assigned a Personal Instructor.
Just complete the registration form accessed by ‘clicking’ on the Home page ‘Register’ icon.

How do I change my contact details and password?
Go to your ‘Profile’ page and press the ‘Update Profile’ button at the bottom of the page. You will then be able to change your: first and last name, e-mail address, biographical info, and password.

What should I do if I have problems with any aspect of the training?
In the first instance contact your Personal Instructor by ‘clicking’ on ‘Contact Your Instructor’ on any course page. They will be able to review your progress, advise you on academic issues, and offer help with your placement in Course D.
Should you experience any difficulty with the training site itself or with accessing your Personal Instructor, please contact the site administration via ‘Contact Us’ on the main menu-bar.

How many times can I attempt each assessment?
As many times you wish. Full on-line feedback is provided for each attempt, but the assessments may be accessed only in the order: Course A -> Course B -> Course C -> Course D.

How can I find my score for each assessment attempt?
You can find the score you achieved on each assessment attempt on your ‘Profile’ page. ‘Clicking’ on any score will provide you with detailed feedback on the attempt. The feedback is colour coded:
Green – correct answer
Blue – incorrect answer
Red – unselected correct answers.

What do the icons in the margin of the course content pages signify?
The four ‘speech bubble’ icons locate direct quotations/ comments in the text by Chaplains, Lecturers, Students and Advisors/ other staff respectively.

The ‘Case Study’ and ‘Key Point’ icons locate areas of the text that describe specific examples and those that require particular attention.
